Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead remote engineering operations, providing technical leadership, strategy, and project oversight from concept to completion.

You will guide a distributed team of engineers and technicians, ensure safe, reliable electrical system design, and drive innovation across power systems, control systems, and automation while collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, with leadership of complex projects.
Expertise in power systems design, control systems, and automation technologies.
Strong remote team leadership and project management skills.
Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to a team of remote electrical engineers and technicians.
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and other engineering disciplines, to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
Develop and implement best practices in electrical engineering, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
