Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a fully remote team, supporting nationwide projects with a focus on innovation and sustainable solutions. You will spearhead electrical design from concept to deployment, driving technical excellence and strategic direction.

Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and manage project timelines and budgets while collaborating with stakeholders across functions in a remote-first

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing complex electrical projects end-to-end.
Expertise in power electronics, renewable energy, and smart grids desirable.
Proficiency with PSCAD and MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

Oversee the electrical design and engineering process for multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop and implement innovative electrical system architectures for power, distribution, and control systems.
Lead and mentor a remote team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering collaboration.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
