Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead remote engineering initiatives, directing a team of engineers in designing, optimizing, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes.

You will drive lean and Six Sigma projects across multiple sites, deliver data-driven improvements, and lead strategic initiatives from a distance with strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with leadership responsibility.
• Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) and process simulation tools proficiency.
• Demonstrated success managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Exceptional remote leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a remote team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and project oversight.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization and operational excellence across multiple sites.
• Oversee the design and implementation of new manufacturing systems, layouts, and workflows using state-of-the-art tools.
• Drive the adoption of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Analyze complex operational data, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of key performance indicators.
