Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Remote Industrial Engineer to champion Manufacturing Excellence initiatives. This fully remote role allows you to influence global manufacturing sites through data-driven lean practices and Six Sigma methods.

You will identify opportunities to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency, lead lean programs, design optimized layouts, and develop performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other CI methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and process modeling.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing programs, Six Sigma projects, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and production systems.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track manufacturing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with site-level management and operational teams to drive adoption of best practices.
• Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement methodologies to site personnel.
