Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Industrial Process Engineer to join our globally distributed team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and product quality, while reducing costs.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, plus hands-on use of process mapping, simulation software, and Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or process engineering.
• Proven experience with process mapping, simulation software, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing production processes from end-to-end to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement optimized manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles and simulation tools.
• Create and update process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), flowcharts, and work instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and operations, through virtual communication channels.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams remotely.
