Placements24 is seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer to remotely analyze manufacturing and business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality across operations.

You will collaborate with site managers and cross-functional teams via virtual channels, applying lean Six Sigma and process simulation to design optimized workflows, monitor performance, and drive meaningful improvements from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial engineering or operations improvement.
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Strong data analysis, statistical software, and process simulation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing operational processes using data analytics and process mapping techniques to identify inefficiencies.
• Design and propose optimized workflows, systems, and layouts to improve productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma strategies remotely, guiding on-site teams through virtual communication.
• Utilize process simulation software to model scenarios and predict the impact of proposed changes.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and implementation plans for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of improvement projects and track their performance.
