Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Industrial Engineering Consultant for a leading global consultancy. In this fully remote role, you will advise clients across manufacturing and operations, implement lean methodologies, and drive efficiency gains from anywhere in South Africa.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma, process mapping and data analytics to design, simulate, and monitor optimized production systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with significant consulting/advisory work.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Develop proposals and strategic recommendations for clients.
• Design and monitor optimized production processes and workflows.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
