Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for a fully remote role based in Paarl, Western Cape. You will analyze production systems, optimize processes, and drive cost reductions while collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, 4+ years of experience in process optimization, and proficiency in statistical analysis, simulation software, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial engineering and process optimization.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, simulation software, and lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsabilités

• Analyze production lines and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Design, develop, and implement optimized processes, systems, and layouts.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards for monitoring progress.
• Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams to adopt new technologies and best practices.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management.
