Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Industrial Engineering Consultant to deliver expert guidance for clients from a home office. This contract role focuses on analyzing operations, identifying inefficiencies, and crafting strategic recommendations for process improvement and cost reduction.

Experts with Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and strong financial analytics will drive data-driven solutions, workshops, and end-to-end project delivery in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field is required.
• PhD is a plus and a strong extra for senior engagements.
• 10+ years of industrial engineering experience, with notable consulting/advisory work.
• Proven track record delivering complex operational improvements for clients.
• Strong analytical capabilities: statistics, modeling, ROI analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of client operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and service processes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
• Develop data-driven strategies and actionable plans for client challenges.
• Design and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and TOC based solutions.
• Lead workshops and training sessions with client teams, remotely or on-site.
• Prepare reports and presentations with findings, recommendations, and roadmaps.
• Manage client relationships and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging industrial engineering methods.
• Quantify impact with financial analysis and ROI calculations.
• Provide ongoing guidance during implementation and transition phases.
