Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with facility layout design focus.
Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for layout and material flow analysis.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize layouts for warehouses and distribution centers.
Analyze current facility operations to identify bottlenecks.
Use CAD and simulation tools to evaluate throughput, storage, and labor use.
Develop facility design documentation (floor plans, specs, procedures).
Collaborate with operations, IT, and external vendors for feasibility and alignment.
Assess material handling systems (conveyors, AS/RS, racking).
Ensure safety, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance in designs.
Perform site selection analyses and feasibility studies.
Develop cost estimates and business cases for modifications or new builds.
Stay updated on best practices and automation trends.
