Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer specializing in supply chain optimization. This fully remote role focuses on designing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels across the organization.

You will optimize inventory management, transportation logistics, warehousing operations, and end-to-end visibility while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in industrial engineering focused on supply chain and logistics optimization.
• Experience with supply chain modeling software and data analysis tools (Tableau/Power BI/SQL).
• Deep understanding of inventory management, warehousing operations and transportation logistics.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive improvements in supply chain performance.
• Strong remote collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the entire supply chain from procurement to distribution.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
• Design and manage warehousing and inventory control systems.
• Evaluate and improve transportation networks and freight cost management.
• Use data analytics and simulations to model scenarios and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and dashboards.
• Implement best practices in demand forecasting and planning.
