Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for a fully remote role to optimize global supply chain operations. You will analyze processes, design network models, and implement data-driven improvements from your home office across borders.

You will work with logistics, procurement, and IT teams, develop KPIs, and mentor junior staff while leveraging tools like Llamasoft, Blue Yonder, and SAP APO to deliver measurable cost savings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain optimization.
• Experience with supply chain modeling, network design, and inventory optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with SCM software such as Llamasoft/Coupa, Blue Yonder, or SAP APO.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Develop and implement optimized network designs, inventory management strategies, and transportation models.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools to test and validate proposed supply chain improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, planning, and IT, to implement operational changes.
• Design and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and SOPs for supply chain functions.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new supply chain technologies and automation opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in supply chain engineering.
