Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead global process improvements remotely. The role focuses on leveraging data analytics, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma to optimize productivity and reduce costs across international sites.

The successful candidate will standardize best practices, develop SOPs, collaborate with virtual teams, and drive innovative solutions to enhance global manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering with focus on process improvement, lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Experience working with diverse global teams remotely or in hybrid settings.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical software (e.g., Minitab), and process simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of lean principles, waste reduction and value stream mapping.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for virtual presentations.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data from global sites to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Design, develop, and implement standardized process improvements using lean and Six Sigma.
• Conduct virtual assessments of processes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and best-practice guides.
• Collaborate with site-level teams via virtual channels to implement changes.
• Use simulation tools to test and validate improvements remotely.
• Track impact against KPIs and report results.
• Research and propose new technologies to boost efficiency.
• Facilitate virtual training for international teams on process improvement.
• Contribute to building a continuous improvement culture across the organization.
