Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer to lead global process improvements from a virtual hub. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing workflows across international sites using lean and Six Sigma.

You will analyze data, develop standardized SOPs, and train teams online, collaborating across time zones to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancements in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of industrial engineering experience with a strong process-improvement track record.
• Proven experience working effectively in remote or distributed teams.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and SPC.
• Proficiency with process modeling/simulation tools and data analysis software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong virtual presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct remote analysis of manufacturing processes and operational data from international sites.
• Develop and propose standardized process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality globally.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives virtually.
• Create detailed process documentation, SOPs, and training materials accessible online.
• Collaborate effectively with site-based operations teams and management across different time zones using digital platforms.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions on process improvement techniques.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of process changes remotely.
• Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption to further enhance global operations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings and recommendations to global leadership.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in industrial engineering and remote operations.
