Placements24 is seeking a strategic Remote Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function from a remote-first perspective. Based in Cape Town, Western Cape, the role is fully remote, enabling contribution from anywhere while ensuring compliance with SA labour laws.

You will design HR strategies, oversee operations, recruitment, and compensation, champion DEI, and mentor a remote team to drive growth and employee well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies in a remote or hybrid environment.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation.
• Excellent virtual communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HRIS and other HR technologies. Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with a high degree of accountability.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive remote work culture.
