Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, data integrity in the HRIS, and benefits administration across locations while helping implement HR policies.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a generalist HR role, a Bachelor's in HR, and strong organizational skills with a proactive, remote-work mindset. This role emphasizes excellent HR service delivery from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role or as an HR Specialist.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and standard HR office suites.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and South African labor legislation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong remote work habits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related queries and concerns.
• Manage and maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and payroll-related information.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
