Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote HR Specialist to join a fully remote HR team. You will support HR operations, policy interpretation, and employee inquiries via virtual channels, ensuring compliant, high-quality HR delivery across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with remote support experience.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
• Solid understanding of HR principles and South African labor legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote HR support and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR topics.
• Assist in the administration and communication of HR policies and procedures for a remote workforce.
• Manage HRIS data integrity and generate reports for HR analytics.
• Support recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate communication, and scheduling interviews virtually.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of virtual HR training and onboarding programs.
