Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote HR Officer to support a growing team. The role focuses on onboarding, data management, policy administration, and resolving employee queries from a remote setting.

You will handle HRIS records, contribute to policy implementation, and assist with training initiatives while collaborating with a virtual team. This position offers full-time remote work with competitive benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in an HR Officer or similar HR support role.
• Experience working remotely or with virtual teams is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR matters, benefits, and policies promptly and professionally.
• Assist in coordinating employee training and development programs.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as directed by HR management.
