Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in employee relations.
In-depth knowledge of employment law in South Africa and HR best practices.
Proven ability to conduct sensitive investigations with impartiality and discretion.
Excellent communication, negotiation and mediation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve employee relations issues including grievances, disputes and disciplinary actions.
Conduct thorough, objective investigations into workplace concerns and policy violations.
Develop and deliver training to employees and managers on employee relations best practices.
Advise management on legal compliance and risk mitigation related to employment practices.
Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture through proactive engagement.
Maintain confidential and accurate employee relations records.
