Placements24 is seeking a versatile and independent Remote HR Generalist to support a distributed workforce across South Africa. You will manage employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, and HR policy guidance in a fully remote environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, knowledge of South African labor law, and the ability to work autonomously. You will partner with managers and employees to foster a positive culture and ensure smooth HR operations in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of HR experience, with preference for remote work experience.
• Solid understanding of South African labor law and HR principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers remotely.
• Assist with recruitment processes including sourcing and screening for remote roles.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding for distributed workforce.
• Address employee relations issues and provide conflict resolution support.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and SA labor laws in a remote context.
• Support HR systems and employee data administration.
