Placements24 is seeking a fully remote HR Generalist focusing on Employee Relations. You will manage sensitive cases, conduct investigations, and advise management on policies. The role supports a fair, compliant workplace across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HR with strong ER experience, in-depth SA labor law knowledge, and excellent communication and discretion. Remote work enables collaboration with teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, law, psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in HR with a strong focus on employee relations.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and industrial relations practices.
• Proven experience in investigations and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disputes.
• Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints and policy violations.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Interpret and advise on company policies and employment legislation.
• Develop and deliver training on employee relations topics to management and staff.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
