Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote HR Manager to lead the HR function in a fully remote capacity. This strategic role shapes policies and programs to support growth and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture across distributed teams.

You will oversee talent management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee relations in a remote-first environment, driving organizational success from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management, MBA, or related field.
• 10+ years HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience developing HR strategies for remote/distributed work.
• Deep understanding of SA labour law and international employment regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience with HR technology and tools for remote workforce management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with a remote-first business model.
• Lead and mentor a remote HR team to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee talent acquisition, development and performance management for distributed staff.
