Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join their remote HR team supporting employees across Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA and beyond. The role emphasizes talent acquisition, retention strategies and HR operations from a home office.

You will recruit, onboard, and partner with managers to meet staffing needs, while maintaining HR records and contributing to policy and training initiatives. A strong, proactive HR professional is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years HR experience with focus on talent acquisition and recruitment.
• Proven ability to source and attract high-caliber candidates through diverse channels.
• Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Develop innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and staffing needs.
• Utilize recruitment channels, including social media, job boards and networks.
• Onboard new employees with a smooth, welcoming transition.
• Support HR in generalist functions: relations, performance, policy.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Contribute to HR projects and training delivery.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
