Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote HR Generalist focused on onboarding to deliver a warm, seamless experience for new hires. You will own the end-to-end onboarding process from pre-boarding to integration, coordinating with IT and departments to ensure smooth access and policy alignment.

Working fully remotely from anywhere in South Africa, you will use HRIS and MS Office daily, maintain accurate records, and drive engagement initiatives that improve retention and new-hire satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• At least 2 years HR administration or onboarding experience.
• Experience with onboarding processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for all new employees.
• Coordinate pre-boarding activities and system access.
• Conduct virtual orientation and introduce culture and policies.
• Ensure HR paperwork and system entries are complete.
• Serve as main contact during onboarding.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments for tools.
• Gather feedback to improve onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records.
• Assist with general HR admin tasks.
• Support employee engagement initiatives.
