Job summary

Hire Feed is hiring a Technical Support Specialist (Remote) to support end users across locations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to keep IT systems running smoothly. This full-time role requires 2+ years in a help desk, proficiency with Windows and macOS, and experience with ServiceNow or Zendesk.

You will manage user accounts, maintain IT asset inventory, and communicate clearly across time zones to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in a computer user support or help desk role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Zendesk for issue tracking.
Customer service orientation with a focus on responsiveness and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or chat for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and resolve computer system problems, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while tracking and documenting resolution progress.
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access provisioning.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
