Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Event Coordinator to plan and execute virtual and hybrid events for a global team. This remote-first role offers autonomy to shape engaging experiences across time zones.

You will manage end-to-end planning, vendor relationships, budgets, speaker coordination, and post-event analysis, collaborating with marketing and tech partners to ensure seamless delivery. Remote position with Durban ties; strong communication and PM skills required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience planning virtual and hybrid events.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with virtual event platforms (Zoom, Hopin, Bizzabo) and related tech.
• Excellent communication and ability to liaise with stakeholders remotely.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute virtual and hybrid events (webinars, conferences, workshops).
• Manage event budgets and vendor payments.
• Source and manage relationships with event platforms and AV suppliers.
• Develop timelines and project plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate speakers and manage registrations and communications.
