Placements24 is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will assess ground conditions and provide foundational engineering solutions for a wide range of construction projects, leveraging advanced analytical tools and collaborating digitally with project teams across locations.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and proficiency with GeoStudio or Plaxis to model soil-structure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on geotechnical site investigation and analysis.
• Proficiency with GeoStudio, Plaxis or similar software for slope stability and foundation analysis.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics and hydrogeology.
• Excellent technical writing and communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of soil and rock mechanics for diverse projects.
• Develop geotechnical investigation plans, including site exploration and laboratory testing strategies.
• Interpret and report on subsurface investigation data, providing design recommendations for foundations, slopes, and earthworks.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports suitable for regulatory submission and client review.
• Collaborate remotely with structural engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project design.
• Utilize specialized software for numerical modeling and analysis of soil-structure interaction.
