The ideal candidate has a Master's in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical), 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in PLAXIS and GeoStudio, with strong communication for remote work. Mossel Bay-based remote setup supported.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical specialization.
6+ years of professional geotechnical engineering experience.
Proficiency with geotechnical software and data analysis tools.
Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
Experience interpreting field data and site investigations.
Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Analyze geotechnical investigation data, including soil reports and geophysical surveys.
Provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earthworks.
Develop geotechnical models and interpret ground behavior for complex projects.
Collaborate remotely with project engineers, geologists, and construction teams.
Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and design parameters.
Ensure designs meet safety standards and address environmental considerations.
