Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in geotechnical engineering for a fully remote role. You will review site investigations, perform advanced analyses, and develop innovative solutions to ensure ground stability and foundation integrity across diverse projects.

Requirements include a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, 9+ years of experience, and proficiency with PLAXIS/GeoStudio. Pr Eng registration is desirable; strong remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 9 years of progressive geotechnical experience.
Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is highly desirable.
Proficiency with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced geotechnical analysis for foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention systems.
Review geotechnical site investigation reports for data quality.
Develop design parameters for soil improvement and ground stabilization.
Provide expert consultation on seismic design, liquefaction analysis, and dynamic response.
Collaborate virtually with project managers, clients, and design teams.
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and presentations.
