Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Freight Forwarder Specialist to join our international logistics team. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, ocean and road, from origin to destination.

This remote role requires strong knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will coordinate with airlines, carriers, brokers, and clients to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in freight forwarding operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air, sea and road shipments end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Track shipments in real-time, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of international shipping procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex air and ocean freight movements.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
• Experience with freight forwarding software and global logistics platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
