Placements24 is seeking a strategic and analytical FP&A Manager for a fully remote leadership role based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will build financial models, drive forecasting, and translate complex data into actionable insights for executives.

In this senior position, you will mentor analysts, collaborate with sales, marketing and operations, and help shape pricing strategies and growth initiatives in a dynamic remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification (CFA/CPA) is a significant advantage.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in tech/high-growth environments.
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Data analysis and visualization tools proficiency (Tableau/Power BI) and advanced Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and business strategy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence, remote leadership experience.
• ERP/FP&A software experience (Anaplan/Hyperion).
• Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving.
• Solid home office setup with reliable high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecast to identify drivers and trends.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for executives.
• Provide financial analysis for new initiatives, investments, and pricing strategies.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to provide insights.
• Enhance FP&A processes and drive best-practice implementations.
• Manage and mentor junior analysts within the FP&A team.
