Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead online sales for a fast-moving consumer goods client. This fully remote role involves developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive revenue, enhance customer experience, and expand the digital footprint.

You will oversee product listings, content, SEO/SEM, email and social campaigns, analyze traffic and conversion data, manage third‑party marketplaces, and mentor a remote team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive e-commerce management experience.
• Proven track record of driving online sales growth.
• Experience with online payment gateways and order fulfillment.
• FMCG exposure preferred; strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's overall e-commerce strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, content management, and user experience optimization.
• Drive online sales through digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email, affiliate programs).
• Analyze e-commerce data, website traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and service providers.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to integrate online and offline strategies.
• Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty in the online channel.
• Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices in FMCG.
• Manage the e-commerce budget and ROI on marketing investments.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of e-commerce specialists.
