Placements24 is seeking a driven Remote Business Development Executive for South Africa. You will lead growth in the fintech space, identify new opportunities, forge strategic partnerships with financial institutions and tech providers, and drive revenue from a remote setup.

The role demands 6–8 years in B2B sales, a solid fintech background, top communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a remote sales pipeline end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in B2B sales within fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record in building and nurturing strategic partnerships and closing significant deals.
• Exceptional understanding of financial technology, payment systems, and digital banking solutions.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Fintech ecosystem through strategic outreach and networking.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth.
• Forge and manage strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, and other key players.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
• Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
• Represent the company at virtual industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, marketing, legal) to ensure successful client onboarding and integration.
• Prepare detailed sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
