Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Field Installation Technician to remotely guide and oversee installations across South Africa, with a focus on the North West region. The role requires troubleshooting via video and remote access tools and ensuring clients can operate systems with expert remote support.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to guide users through complex procedures from a distance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical installations or field service with remote support.
• Excellent understanding of hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Proficiency with remote access software and video conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote guidance for installation of complex hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues via remote tools and clear communication.
• Develop and update installation guides and remote support docs.
