Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Equipment Installation Specialist to join our team. This fully remote role supports installations across regions, including Kimberley, delivering expert guidance as clients install and configure sophisticated equipment.

You will use advanced remote tools, video calls, and CRM systems to ensure accurate deployments, troubleshoot remotely, and document sessions. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to ensure a seamless customer

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical installation, equipment setup, or a related field.
• Excellent understanding of complex mechanical, electrical, or IT systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying technical abilities.
• Proficiency with remote access and diagnostic software, video conferencing tools, and CRM systems.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• A stable home office environment with reliable high-speed internet is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients remotely through the step-by-step process of installing and configuring new equipment.
• Provide live technical support via video calls, phone, and chat to resolve installation challenges in real-time.
• Develop clear, concise remote installation guides and troubleshoot common setup issues.
• Verify the correct assembly and initial setup of equipment through client-led checks and remote diagnostics.
• Collaborate with the sales and technical support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to operation.
• Maintain detailed records of remote installation sessions, client feedback, and any encountered technical difficulties.
