Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in family support, crisis intervention, or case management.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and its application.
• Proficiency with tele-health platforms and virtual communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to families in distress.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs, strengths, and risks.
• Develop and implement individualized family support plans with achievable goals.
• Offer counseling and guidance on parenting, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Connect families with essential community resources (housing, financial aid, mental health services).
• Provide emotional support and build coping skills and resilience.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain confidential case notes and documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and other service providers.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, case consultations, and professional development.
• Advocate for families within various systems.
