Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Family Support Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will provide counseling and guidance to families navigating parenting, child development, and socio-economic challenges, using secure messaging, video calls, and phone.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Social Work or related field, at least three years of direct family work, and strong virtual communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Child and Family Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with families in a support or counseling capacity.
• Excellent virtual communication and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with video conferencing platforms and case management software.
• Ability to manage a caseload remotely and work autonomously.

Aufgaben

• Conduct remote needs assessments to understand family challenges and strengths.
• Develop and implement individualized family support plans with families.
• Provide direct counseling and support services via phone, video conferencing, and secure messaging.
• Connect families with community resources such as educational programs, healthcare, and financial assistance.
