Placements24 is seeking a skilled and empathetic Family Support Counselor to join their expanding remote team. This role focuses on delivering accessible counseling to families and individuals across South Africa, using secure video conferencing and digital platforms from home.

You will develop personalized support plans, provide psycho-education, offer crisis intervention, and collaborate with other remote professionals while maintaining confidential records and delivering online workshops.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Registered/licensed professional (HPCSA, SACSSP).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in family and individual counseling.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and virtual tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
• Develop personalized support plans and provide psycho-education.
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support to clients.
• Collaborate with remote healthcare professionals for holistic client care.
• Maintain confidential electronic records and progress notes.
• Facilitate online psycho-educational workshops and support groups as needed.
