Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly creative and experienced Remote Lead Event Designer & Experience Architect to conceptualize and design standout events across scales. This fully remote, full-time role demands a visionary, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex projects from ideation through execution.

You will guide design teams, collaborate with production, and source unique elements to craft immersive attendee journeys while ensuring safety and compliance in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Hospitality Management, or a related creative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in event design, production, or experiential marketing, with a significant focus on Arts & Entertainment.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is essential.
• Strong understanding of event logistics, production, and technical requirements.
• Excellent spatial reasoning, aesthetic sensibility, and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Creative problem-solver with a passion for crafting unique experiences.
• Must be capable of working full-time in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative event concepts and experiences that align with client objectives and brand identity.
• Create detailed event blueprints, including spatial design, thematic elements, and attendee flow strategies.
• Collaborate with production teams, vendors, and technical specialists to bring designs to life.
• Source and curate unique elements, including décor, entertainment, technology, and sensory engagement components.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring creative visions are realized within financial parameters.
• Oversee the design and execution of branding and visual elements for events.
• Anticipate and resolve potential design and logistical challenges.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in event design, experiential marketing, and immersive technologies.
• Lead and inspire design teams, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Ensure all designed experiences are safe, compliant, and deliver exceptional attendee satisfaction.
