Placements24 is seeking a Remote Event Planning Assistant to support our event management team in Rustenburg. This hybrid role combines remote coordination with occasional on-site tasks for key event phases or client meetings.

You will help research venues, coordinate logistics, manage guest lists, and provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional guest experiences. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and project management skills are essential.

• Experience with event management software and standard office apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and securing venues, vendors, and suppliers within budget constraints.
• Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, catering, and A/V requirements.
• Manage guest lists, invitations, and RSVP tracking.
• Provide on-site support during events, assisting with setup, guest management, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare event materials, such as signage, programs, and promotional items.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal team members to ensure alignment.
