Placements24 is seeking a Remote Event Planning Assistant to support our event management team from Rustenburg with hybrid work flexibility. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, ensuring seamless logistics and guest experiences. Occasional on-site participation may be required for key phases or client meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and securing venues, vendors, and suppliers within budget constraints.
• Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, catering, and A/V requirements.
• Manage guest lists, invitations, and RSVP tracking through event management software.
• Provide on-site support during events, assisting with setup, guest management, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare event materials, such as signage, programs, and promotional items.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal team members to ensure alignment.
