Placements24 is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Event Planner to conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of events for stakeholders. Based in Sandton but operating in a fully remote setting, you will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure events align with strategic goals and exceed expectations.

The role requires proven experience in remote event management, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication.

About the Role

This role is integral to delivering engaging and memorable experiences, managing all aspects from initial ideation through to post-event analysis. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure events align with strategic goals and exceed expectations, all within a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and manage all event logistics, including budget, venue, catering, A/V, and staffing.
• Develop detailed event timelines and project plans, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure the best rates and services.
• Manage event marketing and communication strategies to drive attendance and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Planner or in a similar event management role, with demonstrated success in remote execution.
