Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organised and proactive Event Manager to lead end-to-end planning and delivery of virtual, hybrid, and potential in-person events within the Arts & Entertainment sector. This remote-first role offers flexibility to contribute from Port Elizabeth and beyond, with responsibility for stakeholder liaison, budgets, and post-event analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Event Management or related field and at least four years of experience in event

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+ years in event planning and management, with a track record in Arts & Entertainment.
• Experience in planning and executing virtual and hybrid events.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events (virtual, hybrid, in-person).
• Develop event plans, timelines, and budgets within financial constraints.
• Liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams for logistics and operations.
• Develop creative event concepts aligned with brand and objectives.
• Manage registration, ticketing, and attendee communications.
• Oversee post-event analysis, including feedback and reconciliation.
