Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Equipment Installation and Support Engineer to enable customers worldwide from a fully remote position. You will guide clients through installation, perform remote diagnostics, and provide expert technical assistance via various channels.

The role requires 4+ years in technical support or maintenance engineering with a focus on remote service delivery, plus a Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical support, installation, or maintenance engineering with a focus on remote service delivery.
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues remotely.
• Experience with remote desktop and diagnostic software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers remotely through setup, installation, and configuration of equipment.
• Perform remote diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Develop and update documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for remote use.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to address client challenges.
• Monitor equipment performance remotely and advise on preventive maintenance.
