Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Equipment Support Specialist to provide expert technical assistance and troubleshooting for a range of advanced equipment from a home office. You will handle requests via phone, email, and remote access tools, resolving complex issues and guiding customers through maintenance procedures.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, stay current with product specs, and ensure seamless operation of client products.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, equipment maintenance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving malfunctions and performance issues.
• Use remote diagnostic tools to monitor equipment status and identify problems.
• Guide users through troubleshooting steps, maintenance, and software updates via virtual channels.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in the support database.
• Relay customer feedback to engineering and product teams for improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and support best practices.
