Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on all employment law matters, including recruitment, hiring, discipline, termination, and discrimination.
• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
• Manage and advise on employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and CCMA/Bargaining Council disputes.
• Ensure compliance with the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and other relevant legislation.
• Develop and implement proactive strategies to minimise employment-related risks and litigation.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on emerging employment law trends.
• Assist HR in developing fair and effective HR policies and practices.
• Represent the company in labour disputes when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of employment law in South Africa.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum of 6 years' post-admission experience specializing in Employment Law.
• Proven track record in handling complex employment disputes and providing strategic advice.
