Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Embedded Automotive Software Engineer (Remote) to design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software for automotive systems, including infotainment, driver assistance, and powertrain control. You will work with a distributed team using Agile methodologies and contribute to the full software lifecycle from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of embedded automotive experience, strong C/C++, and familiarity with RTOSs like FreeRTOS or QNX,

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience in automotive domains.
• Strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and hardware awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement embedded software for automotive applications using C/C++.
• Develop and maintain RTOS environments for ECUs.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to align software/hardware requirements.
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit/integration tests.
