Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Embedded Systems Developer to join a fully remote engineering department. You will design, develop, test, and implement embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++ in a RTOS environment.

Collaboration with hardware engineers and system architects is essential to deliver reliable inter-ECU communication over CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. The role emphasizes high-quality, safety-conscious software development with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional embedded systems development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded development tools.
• Knowledge of CAN and LIN automotive protocols.
• Familiarity with Git and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for automotive ECUs adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Implement and optimize firmware for microcontrollers and processors using C/C++.
• Integrate software components with hardware, ensuring functionality and performance.
