Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Developer specializing in Embedded Systems. You will design, develop, and implement embedded software for automotive control units, infotainment, and ADAS, in a fully distributed engineering team.

Responsibilities include RTOS optimization, cross‑functional collaboration, and testing to ensure safety and quality per AUTOSAR and ISO 26262. Remote, with global impact on vehicle tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in embedded software for automotive applications.
• Strong C and C++ proficiency.
• RTOS experience and embedded systems architecture.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
• AUTOSAR and MISRA C/C++ knowledge.
• Git and agile methodologies experience.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration for remote teams.
• Experience with ADAS or infotainment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications.
• Implement and optimize RTOS for automotive ECUs.
• Develop software for powertrain, body electronics, infotainment, and ADAS.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to define software requirements.
• Perform unit and integration testing and debugging.
• Ensure software quality, safety, and standards compliance (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
• Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.
• Collaborate in a fully remote, cross-functional team.
• Document software designs and testing procedures.
