Placements24 is hiring a Remote Automotive Software Engineer focused on embedded systems. You will design, implement, and test software for automotive ECUs using C/C++ with RTOS, adhering to ISO 26262.

You will work with CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet, collaborating with hardware teams in a fully remote setup. Requires 5+ years in automotive embedded development, strong C/C++, and knowledge of AUTOSAR and Vector tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in embedded software development within automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ and RTOS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive control units using C/C++.
• Implement RTOS and drivers for microcontrollers.
• Develop software modules for infotainment, ADAS, and powertrain control.
• Adhere to ISO 26262 and automotive safety standards; perform testing and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation.
